Who we are

This website is operated by RE/MAX Your Community Realty, Brokerage, 187 King Street East, Toronto, ON M5A 1J5. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect on this website and how we use it.

Information we collect

Contact details you provide: your name, email address and cell phone number when you create an account, request a showing, sign up for alerts, or contact us.

Account information: login sessions tied to your phone number so we can keep you signed in.

Preferences: saved searches, listing alert criteria and favourited listings.

Usage: pages viewed and searches performed, which we use to improve the website.

How we use your information

We use your information to operate your account, send the listing alerts you explicitly sign up for, respond to showing requests and messages, and improve the website.

Marketing consent: we only send ongoing listing emails to people who explicitly sign up for alerts. Creating an account, requesting a showing, or contacting us does not subscribe you to marketing emails. Every alert email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can pause or delete alerts at any time from Alerts.

Phone verification

We verify your cell number by text message to protect your account. Your number is your login identity and is never displayed publicly.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. Session cookies expire automatically; you can clear cookies in your browser settings at any time, though you will need to sign in again.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help operate this website (such as email and text-message delivery) and when required by law.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your personal information at any time by editing your Profile or by contacting us.
